Clinical Biography

Karla Lopez, RN is a circulator registered nurse in UT Health Austin’s Ambulatory Surgery Center. She performs health assessments for patients prior to their surgery to determine readiness for surgery.

Karla earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Texas A&M University Corpus Christi and completed a nurse residency program at Baylor Scott and white Health in Temple, Texas. She has 2 years of experience in a level 1 trauma center and an additional 2 years of travel nurse experience.
