Clinical Biography
Daniela McFarland, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker in UT Health Austin’s Texas Center for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Disease a clinical partnership between UT Health Austin and Dell Children’s Medical Center. She is also a part of UT Health Austin’s Health Social Work care team. She specializes in pediatric cardiac care, specifically heart failure and single ventricle patients.
Daniela McFarland earned her bachelor’s degree in social work from St. Edward’s University and her master’s degree in social work from The University of Texas at Austin. She also completed several internships specializing in child welfare, refugee services, and medical case management.
Daniela McFarland is a member of the National Association of Social Workers and the Society for Social Work Leadership in Healthcare.
