Biography and Education
Clinical Biography
Meagan Williams, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine specialist in UT Health Austin’s Primary Care Clinic. She specializes in primary care and women’s health. Additionally, Dr. Williams is an assistant professor in the Dell Medical School Department of Internal Medicine at The University of Texas at Austin.
Dr. Williams earned her bachelor’s degree in marketing from The University of Texas at Austin and her medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine. She completed a residency in internal medicine at the University of Washington, where she helped establish the Women’s Health Pathway, a longitudinal training track for internal medicine residents.
Dr. Williams’ research focuses on trauma informed care, reproductive justice, and sexual health. She is dedicated to establishing connections with patients throughout their treatment to ensure their care always meets their needs. She is an active member of the Alpha Omega Alpha, the International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health, and The Menopause Society.
